Port Wine event at Restaurant Knudsens Gaard
Friday, november the 18th from 18.30 Odense Wine Import once again invites to port wine event at Restaurant Knudsens Gaard.
Port wine is perfect for chocolate, cakes and cheese, and at our last port wine dinner we also proved, that port wine can easily be enjoyed with fish and beef. This evening we repeat the success, but with a couple of interesting changes in the menu and wines, to make sure that both old and new participants can get a wonderful experience and an inspiring evening.
APPETIZER:
Toast with truffle and foie gras mousse w/ Taylor's Chip Dry
MENU:
- Consommé with port wine herbs & cubes of duck breast w/ Taylor 10 Year Old Tawny
- Salmon with herbs and scallops with apple puree & crispy pancetta Tesa w/ Taylor Fine White
- Slices of American beef filet with mushroom souffle & herb bordelaise w/ Taylor's First Estate
- Red Sun: Dansih "Rødkit" cheese with walnuts in maple syrup w/ Taylor's Quinta de Vargellas
- Cherry-semifreddo, almond-cinnamon cake& rice creme w/ Taylor 20 Year Old Tawny
